June 21, 1700, letter from the Board of Trade and Plantations to Richard Coote, Earl of Bellomont, the governor of New England and New York, regarding various matters, including New York frontier affairs (gifts to the Five Nations, fortifications in the Onondaga country, soldiers' supplies); the suppression of piracy; ships' admiralty passes; N.Y. political appointments; the status of acts of New York and New England provincial assemblies; assembly allotments for gubernatorial maintenance; and record keeping.
